Why I Lurve PRISON BREAK

No need to elaborate further on how great this show is up there next to Lost, Heroes, etc. But what this show has that those don’t is it really provides exposure to the street language used by the blacks, Latinas, and southern hilly-billies in the States. There’s just so much oral culture to be picked up by watching this show. Some examples, ‘You feel me?’, ‘I’m gonna sing!’, ‘Papi!’, ‘Primero!’, ‘Bulls!’ and just so much more. These words are nothing new to you and me but the way they’re used in the film courtesy of T-Bag, C-Note, and Sucre is just simply unique. This is lingo which you are not going to be able to learn from any ‘Speak X in 3 months’ book or any English or Spanish language classes. Already romped through Season 1, now aquiring Season 2.
