As all Malaysians who were not absent during Sejarah period know, the only reason why Malaysia is not Indonesia today is because Indonesia was so impatient to get their independence that they decided to leave the Malaya peninsula behind. And then in 1963 when our great and sovereign but kadang kala bodoh country of the Federation of Malaysia was formed, the Indonesians decried our new nation calling it a new form of neo-colonialism. Thus they launched a minor armed military campaign against us called Ganyang Malaysia, which literally means the above. In 1965, Sukarno was ousted in a coup, and the new Suharto came in. Ganyang Malaysia was over, and the two countries normalized relations.

However, the truth is, Ganyang Malaysia is still well and alive today, just as we know that there are still communists hiding all over the jungles of South East Asia, and if you ever get lost in the jungle and found by them you can say goodbye to your free-market spending ways forever.
